About the text:  This beautiful Canadian folksong can be sung as a canon.  It features the use of the minor pentatonic scale, and uses syncopated rhythms.

About the arrangement:  The arrangement aims to catch the mood of a tranquil canoe journey on a beautiful lake.  The solo violin imitates the flight of the wild goose.
